Can someone suggest a center channel speaker that would match the timbre of the Bose Acoustimass?

Yes a Bose Acoustimas sat keynoter is the only hope for you. If you try to use anything else even another Bose you will ruin your sound stage.

I am curious how you plan to incorporate a Klipsch sub in the mix as the AM systems use the sats for directionality (very severely i might add) and Us the AM module for low mids and higher end bass. Adding a sub ( unless you use the LFE for a small 300Hz bandwidth of signal). will concoction up the works as well.

I assume your center channel is dead because you hooked it directly to the receiver, yes? This would have made a full range signal go the center and speedily burn out the coil as it has no high pass crossover in it. You probably did this because the AM module was dead, hence the need for a new sub (it is becoming clearer to me). And your amp is not adept of individual channel bandwidth or bass redirect control.

Fact is that you cannot expect the Bose AM speakers to last much longer in that locale. Given your previous luck with Bose, I would timbre' match to your existing sub, with the correct series match of Klipsch list shelf series speakers.

The sub and receiver are winners, stay away from Bose' overpriced under performing proprietary kit.

This is intended as a budget adjustment, never tires of winning any competition, and the system my advice is not blurred in this car. I would like Bose speakers, which seemly intact (and the master for the purpose of investigating legal HU and aftermarket amplifier), but they have something overdue as 5 ohms. They have arisen out of the doors yet, but from what I present, the magnets 8 of quotes.
