What guitar stand should i buy for an explorer shaped guitar?

I have reasonable bought a gibson explorer and i need a stand for it, my dad won't let me have a guitar wall hanger so i need a stand. i saw a couple of hercules stands on the internet that 'auto-restrain' your guitar into place at the neck. Would an explorer neck fit in as it is quite thin? and they are a few different models and i don't know which one is best, can someone plz help me? thanks
