can i get replacement cogs for my SRAM cassette?
i have an SRAM cassette, PG 950 i deliberate on or something like that. one of the cogs is wearing out and the chain is jumping on it now. i do plan on getting a new cassette (maybe a PG990) and a chain when i get paid, but i poverty to know if i can just get a single cog to replace this one with so i can use it on one of my junk bikes to huck around.
my cassette comes completely apart - every cog comes singly, so i know they can be replaced individually, the question is where do i get a single cog.
Sram is not new on the buy only in or with some components and you can replace the cogs in your cassette.
People have been building there own cassettes for years and most guys that do build cassettes, construct an all new cassette they don't mess with just one or two cogs.
You can also do rebuilds with Shimano and Campy, you don't have to get a whole new cassette.
That being said, the one thing I would warn you about if you choose to do a rebuild is to also repay your chain at the same time because if you have worn out some of your cogs, you have also done the same with the chain and if you insert a new cogs with out a new chain you could create the same problem. You shouldn't ever succeed one without the other. also check your front chainrings for ware.

Shimano Ultegra 6700 group
Tolerable value with phenomenal shift performance, dogged by a range of functional design issues
Dura-Ace features and think but with a tad more weight – and a lot less money
Shimano's Ultegra road group has long been the workhorse of the lineup, donation near-Dura-Ace functionality and weight but with prices that average consumers could afford. We've already gone over the tech specifics so we'll cavort over all of that and go straight into how well it works and feels after several months on the road. As expected, the all-new Ultegra 6700 loses some weight – over 150g! – and has gained drip-down changes from its recently revamped Dura-Ace 7900 stablemate but along with the good comes a few letdowns as well.
Ergonomics – suit perch, easier reach
The all-new Ultegra 6700 STI Dual Control levers are a virtual dead ringer for Dura-Ace: they're now more rectangular in clean up with less of a taper than before, the body has more girth and is similarly squared off, the straighter top surface makes for a flatter transition to the bar, and the apparently canted carbon fiber main lever blades are shapelier and easier to reach from the hoods, addition they're easier on bare skin when it's cold. Now that the shift cables are neatly concealed beneath the bar tape, the once-protrusive bulb atop the lever has been downsized (for better or worse depending on your grip preferences) and the overall look is more businesslike than before.
Some Noob Questions - SoCalTrailRiders
First, he took a cross check of CL during the summer, which was built from the mountain to be more of a roadie bike compared crossCheck perfect. It is aimed a little high frequency for me, I'm no pilot roadie. The bike is for commuting, weekend rides ~ 30 miles, and before the tour and LD. Correct now has Dura Ace 52/39 w / a 11-25. Require that some of the crop changes, what should I look?
